Where To Get a 4-Pin Rover Diff?

Because I know there was Maxi-Drive, but I believe they've closed up.

So where these days can you get a 4-pin Rover diff, 24-spline side gears, and, while I'm at it, custom Stage I front axle shafts to suit the diff?

I'm out in the middle of nowhere, so it's a bit hard to keep track of where to get stuff . . .

Or you could buy an ARB locker for not too much more.

This is a good point. Do the ARBs have 24-spline side gears? And who makes custom shafts? That mob who took over from Maxi-Drive?

As well as an ARB, you have the choice of a Jack McNamarra diff lock or a Detroit Tru Trac torque biasing diff (or a Quaiffe ATB from the UK, but they are exxy) that also replaces the entire centre and should be much, much stronger than stock.

Apart from Hi Tough, Jack Mc do custom shafts for Landies, and Rovacraft supply Ashcroft shafts from the UK.

ARBs are available in 10 and 24 spline. Custom axles from:

    Hytuff Eng
    Jacmac
Rovertracks (US) - cheapest option for quality axles
    Ashcroft (UK)
    KAM (UK) - wouldn't personally
