I bought my 300 Tdi hose,s off a ebayer from oz he had a list of the sizes ,it worked out a lot cheaper than getting them from oversea,s and quicker overnight postage ill see if i can dig up the link![]()
Just bought a set of silicone hoses from the UK for a 300 tdi
good hoses, UK made nice quality and cheaper than most exept that the elbow and straight piece for the lower intercooler intlet are the same size as the top hose, larger ID than original, they will clamp up ok.
Do other makers such as Allisport or SFS etc supply same size ID hose or hose of the correct size? those of you that sell kits or have imported hoses I'm interested to know
Thanks

These were less than $150 landed to my front door, cheaper than buying standard rubber ones from a well known supplier in Blackburn of unknown quality and landed to my front door and $100 less than some of the other brands I've seen around
Mine came from sydney![]()
the elbow and straight piece should be 50mm ID and these are off the shelf sizes, nothing special unlike the top hose.
Slight Hijack - where can you get silicone hoses cheaply? I bought some heater-sized silicone hoses from QLD Diesel Spares a few years ago - their prices were good, but what about larger sizes?
Why don't people buy Aluminium or stainless elbows, and just use short sections of silicone as joiners? Surely that would work out cheaper given the price of silicone hose?
Look at the add just under the first post. They aren't that dear,I want yellow ones. Pat
I don't now what the place is called because there's an Enzed link there now. Pat
