It is better to buy local ( warranty, knowledge, etc) as Landy Andy suggested ... Rovertec , Rovercraft + what the others recommended

But if you can't get it here in WA //

I don't know who sells "ready made" in WA, But in SA
Hold on to you seat about the price on some items!!!!!

Triumph Rover Spares - The World's Largest Land Rover Dismantler

Check out ... Parts / Parts specials ... and also "V8 Motorsport" section
Have bought used parts only from these guys ... 3 to 5 days for delivery ... Good to deal with

Just phone them with credit card in hand

Thanks Lucas. I'm not seeking anything wild, just an extra 20 or 30 ponys around 4000-4500rpm. I was thinking of going for a mandrel bent 2.25" exhaust from the collector back and replace the original muffer with something that has a little less back pressure, although not so much that I loose low end torque. And since the heads need doing anyway, if there was someone in perth who knows what they are doing in regards to porting with a track record of success then I'd be inclined to pay more for to get them done - salary sacrifice off course

Also further to "who" in Perth

In the Bayswater industrial area .... Cossom Place ... Ive seen a small workshop littered with Rover TR7 cars

I suspect that these boys are into Rover cars "Big time" and would know plenty

    Anyone know anything about them???

Its off subject a little but there is not much to be gained by "light" porting. You will definitely not get 30BHP!(without cam, extractors, work on the inlet trumpets etc etc, and timing), let alone the injection settings .

I spent 30-40 hours on my heads with a lot of work on the inlet and exhaust bowls and shortened guides to the inlet roof . I got 7% more BHP, and I am confident that the theory of what I did was very sound.
I feel the most gain is from the exhaust port bowl as this is visually the worst area with BAD casting slippage , and also the inlet bowl and guide size reduction.

You can port match the manifold in a few minutes with a die grinder after stuffing the ports with rags. The line of the gasket will give a guide if you do it before the heads are cleaned.
There are many crooks out there that will take your money for a cosmetic job, so make sure they have a flow bench and know how to use it. If not give them a miss.
Be prepared to spend at least a 1K for the porting alone.
    Regards Philip A

Over the years I've got a couple of 2.25 petrol heads from Turner Engineering in the UK, and while a bit spendy you get what you pay for. Freight is via DHL and pretty quick, too.

I agree. The best thing you can do is really to just match port the intakes. Unless you are changing cams, CR ratios and fuelling method, head massaging will have no gain and in some cases may make it worse by increasing the chamber cc's if you take out too much.
