if you do need to remove the brake line make sure you cut away the steel at the top of the hole on the support bracket so that next time you only need to loosen the locking nut and you brake line will just lift out.....from memory the brake caliper to come with it

Try loosening the bulkhead nut that fixes the fitting to the bracket (not the nut that joins the brake pipe to the bulkhead fitting).

This won't affect the fluid in the line, but will allow the fitting and brake line to flex in the bracket, which may help with access to the bolt.

Mine has the holes for the brake line in the bracket converted to slots (open at the top) so that you can spring it out of the way after slackening the nut. Probably not possible to do the conversion without undoing the brake line as suggested, but worth doing for next time.

By combining just about all the advice offered. I managed to complete the job.

I needed to disconnect the brake line to be able to get good enough access to the bolt head with a socket.

The bracket now has a slot so that in future the brake line won't need to be undone.

The reverse bleed worked a treat.

I also ground away a bit of the horizontal part of the angle bit of the bracket, so that the socket will fit down further on the head of the bolt next time.
    Thanks once again.

I managed to get a 1/4" drive socket on mine with some bending. As mention previously, brakeline is relatively forgiving

covered in an EMEI mod instruction

remove the brake line, slot the bracket so next time you do it all you do is back of the retainer nut on the brake coupling and lift it clear...

I dont advise just bending it but it does work in a pinch.
