Thread: Oils ain't oils

True or false??
What do the punters think?

I changed the oil in the rear diff, mainly to see if any sparkly bits came out, in my investigations of the rear knock ... seems to be backlash ... I think.

Anyway .. oil was just burnt but clean .. . The only oil I was able to easily obtain was CASTROL EPX 80W/90. [quote]This is the recommended oil, but is it up to the mark? Just wondering if other brands are generally preferred across the board.
