but yeah Given my options its much nicer to be able to turn the motor upside down to do all the checks.....

Block and tackles/cumalongs are lendable or even an engine crane can be had for just over $200, It would be extremely frustrating doing a re-ring and bearing in car, I couldn;t see myself not chucking a wobbly:DQuote:
