What transfer and ratios in an RR?

I am going to have a look at 1988 Range Rover auto, only 216000k's. I believe these have a ZF 4sp. auto. What transfer case do they have and what are the high/low ratios? Anything to look out for? Known problem areas? Rust areas?

If it is as good as the current owner tells, I will probably keep it original for a daily urban/short haul driver. Otherwise it will get a repower of some kind to be determined as 3.5 litres and a two ton car are not a good match performance-wise.

LT230 with i beleive 1.22/1 high low is 3.321/1. Rust in usual places, front floor pans, sills, rear floor, top tailgate, bottom of A/B pillars but chassis rust is rare unless its a boat launcher.
