I'd solder it. Pat
Ive managed to put a pinhole in my D2 radiator whilst removing it.Right in the centre.
Whats the best way to repair????
Will solder repair the hole and pinch it off to be sure????
At least I discovered it before fitting, hell of a job to remove the thing.
Thanks
Andrew

Sure it's not an aluminium core? If so crimp it and repair with araldite,
Cheers Charlie
Crimped it twice each side and soldered it,must be gentler and control ones temper whilst installing.

Hi,
Crimping will be fine as a temporary soloution.
Long term I would look at having the tanks removed and blocking the tube when time and money allows. Any radiator repairer should be able to do this.
I work for an industrial radiator manufacturer, we have had instances in the past where we have had product returned due to the solder dropping of with expansion.
I'm with Chazza, a D2 would have an alloy radiator, would it not? Epoxy is your friend, lasts for ages
