Yes mine is much more driveable too.
I doubt it will use more fuel,unless you abuse the power.
Ive noticed the peak boost is slightly lower,possibly due to the wastgate opening sooner on the shorter shaft.
Still to mess with mine further to get the optimal adjustment.
The ECU opens the wastgate as boost increases.
Dont get a boost gauge,but the money towards a Nanocom,its got a boost readout in it and it will help you no end with future electronic faults.
