...why do people feel the need to cross post???
NS is National Special. NF & NC are National Fine and National Coarse, the standard forms of the the American National system. NS is to be used only when a standard thread is not adequate. In this case, steering rods, the size has been in use since before rationalistion in about 1949 when 11/16 became an obsolete size to be used only as necessary when a standard would not be adequate.
LR/RR steering rods are 11/16" x 16tpi NS, left hand and right hand. I have both taps and dies in right and left hand available exstock. Taps are intermediate lead, and the dies are 1 1/2" diameter. Both taps and dies are High Speed Steel. Taps $16 RH, $30 LH, dies are $20 RH, $35 LH. Plusd postage.

I think you would be better off to keep both ends the correct parts, that is the 11/16" x 16 tpi LR part. However, a 21mm x 1.5 tap is available even if it is a rarely encountered size. Would be ex USA, about 4 weeks delivery, and around AU$60 dependent on exchange rate and air mal cost.
What is the reasoning behind having the Toyota rod end on one side?
URSUSMAJOR
the toyota 1 is for the toyota 60 serries power steering box fitted. i have fitted full power steering useing toyota power steering box & shaft then joined to a rongerover knuckle & rr steering colum.so i have to make a new drag link 1 end toyota the other landrover .i just brought a new landrover RH thread for the landrover end..
