Thread: mods to 99 ES v8 (airbags,computer overrides ect)

ok im getting a 99 ES v8 with rear air bags how ever the compressor is missing. and i want to lift this 2-4" whast my best bet airbag spacers, coils ect.

also i been told the traction computer is a bit of a bummer how do i over ride it?

any thing else i should do to make it more 4wd ready, im thinking of getting a electric winch (used to have hydrolic but since removed)

The D2 traction control system is pretty good. There is no reason to override it unless you are fitting lockers.

I like the air suspension, but if you want a 4" lift, you would probably need to convert to coils.

If the compressor is missing, the suspension will be down on the rear won't it?
