Thread: nead info on RR engine things

Hi all

looking to fit a megasquirt ECU to my 1990 RR Vogue 3.9 Ltr but need to know some stuff due to still haven't received manual was wondering if you guys could help here, this is what I need to know

What type of ignition system does the RR run?

where the crank angle sensor (CAS) or distributor trigger wheel is and what type is it (Optical/LED Sensor? Hall Sensor? VR Sensor?)?

How many teeth/windows/slots and what orientation does the CAS, crank trigger, and/or distributor wheel have? (any missing? all evenly spaced?)?

Is there a distributor? Single/Multiple Coils? Coil on Plug?

Does the 3.9 Ltr engine have a fast idle valve (IAC)? If so, how many wires are connected to it?

sorry if you dint Know some of the names of things because I don't know some like Hall sensor, these are questions asked of me via Email to assist in helping select the right model due to the features id like to incorporate all help will be appreciated.
