    200 tdi coolant leak

A small coolant leak on passenger side in front of block has developed into a large leak. The question is can I fix it with a bit of sealant without removing anything or do I have to take it apart. And, if the latter what do I have to remove. Also, gasket or goo or both and if goo which one for water pump and timing cover etc.

Im not sure if the 200Tdi has a p gasket like the 300Tdi , If it does it will mean timing cover has to come off to solve the leak

Is it at the front left hand almost at the top of the block behind the alloy timing cover

Yep, that's the spot, between block and timing cover.

You will have to remove timing cover to fix this leak. Sorry.

The leak is actually between the block and timing housing, as I hope this pic shows. Which means removing injector pump. Can this be done without special tool? And do I use gasket or goo or both? The belt was changed 50k ago so should be OK, should I replace anything else?

    Timing belt tensioning

I'm a little further advanced now everything off and waiting to be re-assembled. But I don't have a deflecting bar torque wrench. Is there is a some way of tensioning the timing belt without it. Any help appreciated.
