Put the old manifold centre etc in a vice, GENTLY but quickly heat the centre section near the end branches, while getting someone to twist and pull the ends. They are just a slip fit into the centre piece.

Bought a new turbo and it came attached to the exhaust manifold, but only the middle of the manifold. The dealers say you can't buy the two end wings. You have to use the old ones. Anybody know how to get them apart?

Thanks! That's what I thought might be required. Strange that they don't seem to sell them separately any more.
I'm guessing you need some serious heat like from an oxy torch?
And putting them into the new turbo -- heat then insert or just bang 'em in?
Ian,
No heat should be necessary, just clean the old branch ends with a wire brush, and insert into the centre manifold bit with a bit of pressure and twisting. If they are easy to slide in/ fit, then a small amount of muffler putty can be a good insurance against leaks.
