appropriate size hole-saw, correctly used

I am going to install some reversing sensors next to the lower rear lights.
I have the appropriate diameter hole cutter but am interested to find out if there are any tricks that I should employ to ensure that I do a neat job?

You can cover the area in masking tape (larger than hole to be cut) that stops any scratches/cuts around the work area, dont push to hard on the hole saw as it will grab the ally.

A plash or two of kero while cutting al will prevent saw teeth from clogging with the soft metal.
I heard/read somewhere the sensors need to be mounted in non-metallic material ??? Most cars you see have them in their plastic bumpers.
True or false, as reversing into things is an art I seem to have perfected ..![]()
