Rangie 91 - Fuel Tank Leaking.

    Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if there is anyone in the Newcastle / Central Coast area that repairs petrol tanks at a reasonable price? Or can supply a second hand tank without rust - same deal?

    Many thanks,
    Shirley....

Is the tank leaking from a hole or is it just the fuel sender seal that is gone?

I'd have used that stuff on our 89 rangies tank when it rusted out- if only I knew about it at the time. The shield is attached to the tank (can't remember how) and it will be pretty well unrepairable.
Ended up getting a later model tank which was plastic.

Go for the POR 15 asits going to cost less than a new or second hand one as yours would be the EFI style tank if it was the early one i could have supplyed you a replacement but all mine are from pre 86 rangies
