on the thermostat theme
I have just returned from an extended trip up north back to the cold climes of the south (Albury/Wodonga). I notice that the temp guage seems to take a good while (15+ min city driving and not much different on the highway) to get to its normal position? I am not sure if this is an issue or just something I happened to notice? How long should it take? The car is a 98 disco tdi auto.
thanks

My Tdi Defender Takes about 5 minutes max highway driving to reach close to normal temp
, City driving should be about the same if your not sitting in traffic idling for that amount of time
Oh and im more south than you !

Mine can take around 15-20 minutes to reach normal temp.
PITA for short trips on a cold night.
