    Door Locking

    Hi All,

or some reason my Disco Series 2 will lock with the key fob or dash button.

Yesterday wanted to lock the dog in for a couple of minutes with the windows down a bit found out that the key turns but it will not lock.
    Any suggestions?

Door latch assembly, in these it incorporates the central lock actuator etc.

It is possible for them to ONLY lock electrically if one of the PLASTIC pieces inside breaks off

Most of the time though, it is the other way around

I'll check one I have in at work tomorrow to confirm, but it does sound like you need a new latch. They aren't as expensive as they once were either...

    Thanks JC
might be a job for you when i come down in October if you have one.

Door locks sounds to fiddly for me. Big clumsy fingers here.

    Cheers
