    72mm ID intake hose

    Hi Folks,

I'm in need of some 72mm internal diameter intake hose for my 3.9 V8 plenum to AFM. It also has a gas ring in the middle of it.
My current rubber one has split. Glued it up for now but that won't last.
Has to be able to turn tight corners so that wired/compressable looking stuff at Autobarn looks good.

I tried my hose place. They had 68mm and 76mm. Autobarn only has 76mm.

Any ideas of where to get it?

I thought of getting the 76mm and making a rubber ring to take up the gap (that didn't come til I got home though) but if I can get 72mm to start with that would be great.

The look on the guy's face at Autobarn when I said it was for a Rover was priceless

    Thanks

Called QDS and the closest they have is 76mm as well.

I think I will just make up an adapter ring to make the 76mm fit.

Either that or get a 4.6 plenum and AFM. I think they are 76mm..............................
Actually can't do that. Even if I was just kidding. As the gas ring is 72mm as well.

If it is the hose that goes from the plenum to the air flow meter you will find it is two different sizes at each end. I found a piece of intercool hose at super cheap auto that did the job and is very thick so won't break again - but $60.
    Cheers,
