Chipping TD5
Hi all
Thread got lost today so will try again.
Question on behalf of my mate that just bought a 2004 Disco TD5, he is looking at installing a Steinbauer Module and we were wondering has anyone installed one themselves and could we get some feedback, good or bad.
Thanks
Zelko

my post dissapeared as welll.......i wonder who pulled the plug out?
anyway, the guy down the road specialises in pootrols, and does many of them and they work well.
he has never done a td5,but said something about on the td5 having to run a wire to the accelerator, don't know what for.
i would stick with a landy specialist, such as Tombie or B.Davis.
these guys have done hundreds of td5s,never heard of any complaints.
M.R. auto at redcliffe keep the Davis chipped ecu's in stock,&swap them on an exchange basis(possibly for 03/04 my only)
tombie is often on this site
i am thinking of doing mine shortly,so let us know what happens.
