Powersteering belt tensioner bolt
Hi All,
Need a little bit of advice
Power steering belt is squealing when at full lock, belt is a touch loose so I thought I might tighten it up. Easy job except for the last grease monkey who stripped the shoulders of the bolt.
Does anyone have any tips to remove a bolt without shoulders?
Cheers

Try using a socket with a hex bolt shape
.... instead of a traditional "Sidcrome" style multi angle socket
.... Use a Impact socket from ($15 supercheap best buy range) and tap it on the bolt head .... There should be enough "meat" left on the bolt to grip it
If not .... then weld another "nut head" ... to the head of the bolt (remove battery lead)
and then use a socket set to undo it
