    suitable injectors for 3.9 v8i

INJECTORS 22LB HIGH FLOW SUIT VN-VY EB-BA 6 OR 8 CYL. - eBay Other Performance Parts, Performance Parts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 21-Sep-08 20:11:41 AEST)

would these injectors be a good alternative to original LR ones?

The specs etc seem to match but would appreciate some responses on it please.

There's nothing much wrong with the stock ones except they are primitive. If you have a fault then I'd get that inj fixed. Just changing them for the sake of it is a waste.

PeterM, What if you have some other performance upgrades, perhaps a supercharger? Sorry for the hijack!

    Grimace,

Bosch 0-280-156-124 are ideal for a supercharged rover V8. They are 29lbs/hr and have a four orrifice plate that gives a nice fine spray pattern.

They support up 270rwkw in turbo falcon sixes so they flow plenty of fuel for a supercharged rangie and have a nice fine pattern for good idle etc.

they are easy to pick up second hand on modded ford site.

    cheers
    Luke

Fuel Injectors - Diesel Powerstroke Injectors - Bosch Injectors - Siemens, Denso, Rochester Injector Sets - FiveOMotorsport

Have a list of direct replacements.
The Bosch models arent too bad. Lucas units tend to spray too wide in the manifold. Last time i had my manifold off, there was significant wetting in the runners where all the EGR stain has been washed off. Bosch pink or yellow tops i think are OK. You just need to match the lbs/hr rating and body size.
