Same for seals and bearings
Go to SKF or some where like that, same seals, you just don`t pay for a landrover package, a LOT cheaper
Im not quoting a Landrover part, I purchased mine from R&E autos, it was a Dayco and came in a box as does the Gates.
I use toothed belts all the time and generally if you get a non stretch toothed belt for less than about $70 to $90 depending on size then you are doing bloody well.
You either have a good mate in the trade or the bloke that sold it to you sold it too cheap as they are much more than $30 at cost.

Thnaks for the advice. I'll go searching for belts.
The reason I replaced everything on the last change is because the pulley came off the tensioner and threw the belt.It was an original part so either way you can get a dud.It is an easy fix as LR did put ''weak'' pushrods and rockers in them for that reason, most other engines put valves through pistons.
