    boost gauge 300tdi

    right o

    just received my new vdo boost gauge

    had a bit of a read through the forum and there are two main spots i can tap into.....i'm confused

    1. wastegate line
    2. inlet manifold

    where do you guys reckon and why

    I use a t-piece off the turbo outlet for the boost control. No cutting and it's standard air hose thread available from places like Pirtek. Use threadlock otherwise it will come loose

    I've just got mine as well, and it's going in the manifold. That way I see the boost the motors getting and if something goes wrong like a leaking intercooler or split hose it will show on the gauge.
    There is a plug in the back of the manifold, I think it's M12, I'm going to drill and tap that to the suit the fitting on the pressure line kit.
