    Engineering big tyres on RRC

My tyre supplier has informed me a 10% rise onhttp://www.mickeythompsontires.com.au/tyres/baja_mtz_radial.htm. 5pm is cut off.
So have to make my mind up today

Just wondering has anyone managed to get 12.5X35 Engineered on a RRC or Disco 1 in NSW. I have heard 33" is all they will allow although the engineer I'm talking to says 35s will be OK

    Thanks Tony

first time I saw Mickey T's was on Matt's Rangie...

    ...they do look good ....

    But is there much of a muchness between 315 x 75 x 16 and 35 x 12.5 's besides the fact that 35 x 12.5 comes in 15 " not 16"'s?

Hmmm, I measured a set in 315/75-16 last year, and I'm pretty sure they measured up at whatever the metric measurement of a 33" tyre was.
    Cheers

My 35's are slightly under, not that far but, only around 1/2" short (story of a lifetime hey?) but thats normal for MT

    "Only" 34.5" hey

I'd heard that re MT tyres before also, though a set of 37x13.5-15 Radial claws I had a while ago did measure true. Perhaps it was the only one in their range.... or my tape stretched.
    Cheers
