Anything can be done for a cost - compliancing will also be expensive - better to sell what you have and buy here.

Can anyone help. i live in Dubai and have a Landrover Discovery LR3 (discovery 3 Series) 2008 model. Its a Left Hand Drive and i want to bring it back to Australia. I need to know if it can be converted to a Right Hand Drive in Australia.

In Dubai my guess would be a petrol V8.
These have terrible resale value in Australia at the moment so you could pick a good one up relatively cheaply( say $45K or so)
Seeing labour is at least A$100 per hour in australia and probably more, I would seriously doubt that it would be economically feasible.

As Garrycol says - on top of the problems of proving use and ownership overseas for two years, while anything is possible, you would need to have very deep pockets to even think about it.
I would be surprised if it could be done for less than $10,000 and six months, and would not be surprised if both these figures doubled. It would involve a lot of labour, both in doing the work, and the research and paperwork, plus a lot of expensive parts, that would mostly be special orders as they are not usually needed.
