    Load TD5 clutch engine fan

On my way home today, I thought the car sounded like the engine was roaring. Go home and idle is normal, had a look under the hood nothing looks out of place. Accellerated and the fan seems to roar.

The went great, no problems and smooth to Loganholme and back again....just replaced the air flow meter and the waste gate actuator, so runs a little smoother and a bit more responsive.

Does this sound like my fan is going? Anyone had this symptom....am I on the right track?

.....I was hoping to go out to Mt Mee tomorrow ...and now the weather looks like it's co-operating....

So, I'm not sure what to do now.....

    Thanks for your help.

If it was a warm day then you're probably correct. Mine was doing it yesterday when it was 35 degrees and the vehicle was driven slowly in top gear, but back to normal once back up to speed.

Edit: I interpretted "fan is going" as "fan is working/locked-up" rather than developing a fault.
