    Winch pull calculator

A while ago I was sitting at work and during a spate of boredom decided to produce a fuel consumption converter and a winch pull calculator.

The winch pull calculator uses the formulas that appear in the Land Rover Winch Manual.

I don't know why but the urge just came over me to share this with you guys.

    Nice job and well done!
Almost exactly the same as the Army TPR calculations, minus drag for missing wheels and tracks and a formula for righting rolled vehicles.
Also, the Army adds a 25% safety factor on top.

Excelent work although I would reccomend adding a second column that indicates a number thats 25% lower to account for damaged tyres and the murphy factor (as mentioned its what the ADF book does.

It won't calculate practical results at large angles like that.

A Red Herring from the Gallery, actually it's a good question and shows you are thinking.
Anything over 45 degrees is classed as a lift not a pull, and the weight is 100%
