I am not an expert nor experienced with the EAS, but will offer what I can seeing that you are not being swamped with replies.
I'm in the process of re-installing the EAS on my '94 classic rangie. If you have a look at my thread in the 'range rover' section, you will see some info that people have given me that has been helpful, also follow the link there to 'rover renovations', that site has a wealth of info on the EAS system. There is a section on that site showing how you can inflate the system by bridging wires at the connection to the EAS computer, will make the vehicle driveable in the short term. For both the rear bags to deflate does not sound like a simple air leak, as the four air systems are discrete; sounds like a problem in the valve block or computer.
Whatever you do, don't follow the masses and replace the EAS with coils!
Pete
