    Auto Fluid Check TD5

I have a 2000 td5 discovery and would like to know how you check the fluid levels in the auto, it appears to change slow compared to other vehicles and reves high in each gear but I dont think it is slipping.
When I put it in park it rolls forward about a half a meter or more I dout that that is normal or is it

Normal due to all the driveline backlash taking up.
It's not advisable to do this anyway. Use the handbrake as the park pawl is quite weak for a heavy Land Rover (I wouldn't use it on any auto).
