ASFAIK they don't all have Salisbury diffs and the axles do vary.
Are they all the same guys? I believe the 110 has Salisbury diffs is this correct?
I was looking for diffs to put in the Series 3 and may have come across a set of 110 axles
Anything I should be looking for specifically as they are attached to a Disco chassis just now simply to keep the chassis rolling, but guy says they are 110 axels..![]()
ASFAIK they don't all have Salisbury diffs and the axles do vary.
for a start 110 Sals axles are much longer than Series Sals axles as the 110 has a much wider track.
Then there's the differences between the drum braked versions and disc braked ones....
...so no, they won't fit.
I know they won't "just fit" due to being coils instead of leafs but I was planning RR axles or even Toyota axles but found some 110 and thought it would be better staying Rover.........
The wider track is part of the benefit![]()
Oh, I thought you were talking about using the 110 axles as in drive shafts in a Series Sals rear end assembly.
Re-reading my original post I can see why you thought that sorry!!
I mean the entire axle assembly.
The 110's are 3.54 ratio, the series 3 is 4.7 to one so you will need extra power.
