Thanks for the info Dave. That saves a bit of time mucking around to find they won't fit.

It looks like I'll get the bits & pieces to convert the rear end to 24spline instead. It just means I have to do it sooner rather than later as planned .

I assume by housing you're referring to the axle casing itself (that the diff assy fits into). The housing isn't the problem in the changeover to 24spline, it's the stub axles, hubs & axles themselves that I need to convert over.
Thanks all the same though .

I can get a new ARB locker through work at a fairly decent price so I'll probably go that way if I save my pennies.
yes , this includes the axles and hubs it's a whole assembly Disc-Disc.

24 spline to 10 spline sun gears

you will fine the sun gear journal is bigger on the 24 spline sun gear, so to fit a 10 spline into a 24 spline center you will need to 'bush' the sun journal. Just not worth the hassle unless you'r really in trouble.

I would like to publicly thank Khos (Disco owner) for his generosity in donating his old Disco rear axle assy to a worthy cause. I can now convert my RR rear end to 24 spline .

Now, off to find the tread on converting to oiled bearings......
