High angularity A frame ball joint ?

Which A frame ball joint has the highest operating angle ?

Is the old Maxi one back in production yet ?

The pictures I've seen of the X eng one looks suspiciously like a Bearmach one, but they may just be using a similar photo too, so, what have you tried and found works and survives ?

    Thanks Phil.
I'm running 10" shocks on the rear ATM and the OE one has been OK, but it's up for replacement and didn't want one worse than it.

I have recently purchased one of these "high balls" from Mr Automotive. Around $180 I think. I plan on installing it this coming Friday, so I will take some pics..

    Cheers

Rick, from what i read on the xeng site, i got the feeling that it was a ball they were sourcing not making themselves.

so the best of what they could find off the shelf.....

now im not sure if the maxidrive/mr automotive ball has more angularity but they are greaaseable and adjustable, last longer...

i read somewhere a while ago that ford transits balls had more angularity.... but all the ford transits i have seen have leaf springs?????

Also on the note of the high ball, i understand why people run them, to get more seperation at the axle to control rotation forces and to try and sort the A frame to ball angle, BUT it will increase anti-squat. which isnt so desirable as it has already been increased buy raising the suspenion and/or bigger tyres.....

Thanks Serg, and I agree with that last sentence.

The Bearmach one is relatively cheap and adjustable, just not greasable like the Maxi/MR one.
I can't complain about the OE one, it's lasted a long time.

Hows the project coming along ?
