Thread: 10 Spline CV's, what is stronger? early or late

Guys, for those in the know and not ones guessing....

Are the 10 spline CV's in the pre 85 RRC stronger than the later ones in the post 85 RRC and Disco 1???

To look that them, the later seems to have a thicker outer wall and it has a smaller input spline, so it has more metal....

Ive only used and abused the earlyer ones and they seem ok but will snap like a carrot if given abuse with wheels at full lock but at half lock they seem to handle a fair bit of abuse like spinning 33x12.5x15 on the tar doing a U turn
