    What are these for?

    Gday

Just been fitting the switches for the locker and compressor into the Defender. After pulling the cigarette plug out I found these plugs. They werent plugged into anything, and look standard.

    What are they for?

    Extra wire on cig lighter

I don't want to hijack your post but, on the same area. My 97 defender has an extra wire on the cig lighter a white one it seems to go to a relay in the battery box. What is it for?
    Many thanks

And all the items in the little panel (clock etc) were wired up ?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Thanks for your replies

Yeah all the things behind the little black panel were plugged in.

Not sure it could be air con, my old man has air con in his Defender and all the controls are on a different panel. Was thinking rear wiper as well but there is no wiper.

    Its a '95 3 door Defender
