    Expansion tanks - can they be welded?

    Has anyone sucessfully welded a radiator expansion tank? If so how? If not, does anyone know of one int he Canberra area that I can buy in the next couple of days?

    If its the Black plastic tank you are talking about they always split. Karcraft in Sydney has new ones, from memory about $55 they will post quickly too.

    but these days the cost is more than the new one,,,

    a disco one has splits not holes
