    turbo up grades, of sorts

    well on my 04 td5 i want to up the boost a little,,, an put a boost gage on it ,, an also for fun a blow of valve,, so i get that nice nosie when it spools up an when i back off, so that are my Qs,, wats the best an easyest way to put a boost gage on an make that wisel noise????

    Forget the blow-off valve. They won't work on a diesel because there's no throttle valve to close and cause a pressure spike in the manifold.

    If you want blow-off valve noises, I think you bought the wrong vehicle...

    ohk,,, it was only going to be for a joke,,, what about the boost gage then?

    joke alright! only no one was laughing

    tee into the waste gate hose for the boost gauge its the easiest way. and for upping the boost, unless you get a boost compensation box and and upgraded ECU and mods, then you wont be able to up it to much. 1-2psi depending.

    oh ok,, yer i was looking to day at it,, an that looked like the easyest way,, but if enyone has enother way,, oh an whats a good price for a small basic gauge, were from- repco??
