Remove the fuel temp sensor from the pressure regulator block and insert an outlet or pressure sensor in its place. Pressure should be about 58psi / 4 bar.
 
Does the engine rev past 2500 while out of gear or on light throttle, yet cut-out under load? If so, it could be a failed boost modulator that causes the ecu to cut fuel when boost is too high.
