Yes GQ/GU will work, they just need the crosspin setup for the bottom mount to fit the D2.

If The Shockwarehouse could supply this 411338 3" crosspin mount below, i could use the Patrol rear shock and all would be solved, but they won't reply to my emails
    Cheers Baz.

I just run a Patrol rear in the front. For the lower bush, any manufacturer who make D2 front shocks should have a cross pin - perhaps OME, ToughDog, Bilstein etc.

Also, its only monotubes that you can run upsidedown

Just make up a mount like I showed you Baz!

Then you can run any eye to eye.

And the shock spec I sent you will be spot on!

The 7100s are a backup Mike if i can't get the Patrol shocks modified to suit, cost is an issue to mate, because of the dollar the way it is against the USD.

If all else fails then I'll get them, I will be speaking to Tony at Heasmans friday.

Simon, thanks for the lend of the shocks, i'll send them back soon as my rear Billies are done

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

No probs Baz, I really should be apologising as the Rancho is such a crap shock that I'd be surprised if they did anything more than merely stop the axle from falling out.

Actually I'll need to send mine in sometime also and get them checked. PreBilstein I'd get about 17000km from a set of shocks - actually those Ranchos you've got were my best 2 from that distance. The Bilsteins have done Cape, Hay River etc and generally been flogged to within an inch of their lives but take it in their stride. Love them!
    Cheers
