    Whats stupid about that???? done it many times, using deodorant hair spray an the like recognised way to re seat a bead in the bush...

    the only thing stupid about that is that he did it with the tyre on the vehicle and supported by what looks like a hi-lift jack.

    I do it that way when Im pressed for time OR when the tubes trick doesnt work.

    I generally do it well in the clear and usually hiding behind something safe OR someone I dont like.

    It's often better to remove the valve first. Otherwise the tyre can 'suck' itself off the bead again.

    BTW, does it do this because the air has been burnt or because it cools down suddendly?
