Thread: Trans hose

My trans hose leak in a crack on the top Metal hose How much fluid would I loss If I cut it and replace with a piece of Hose and two hose clamps .Any Advice would be appreciated

Probably less than a litre, but you will need to remove the pipe if you hacksaw it to get all the filings out, or use a proper pipe cutter. You don't want filings in an auto trannie
