    think they are for pre abs modles? the 90 bits dont have inclusions for the abs sensor, the 110 dia is closer but my housing is minus the drain plug.

    ive just knocked both top and bottom bearing races out of the swivel and thats it...there are no shims, fiberous or other.
    all i have is bearing race, bearing, abs sensor with o ring and the shim that was under it.

    the top bearing race is numbered timken NP824896.

    ok, my research shows that this is exactly the same as my top pin, minus the abs sensor in the center.

    That looks pretty conclusive!

    As for my previous posts I'm Sorry for the mistake Phil, I ASSUMED the ABS models were still like the D1 etc in defenders...I haven't yet seen a 2000 on one apart and wasn't aware they changed them. I'm glad they got rid of the useless flat roller thrust brg and washers etc as this has no place in a defender front axle, It would be fine in a shopping cart D1, it is way less strong than what you have there.


    I'll just go off and bag my head...
