    and if you need to flush out all the brown goop from your cooling system......
    good ol truckwash.......ct14 or ct18......cant remember the number just now.....
    pour some of this in the coolling system and run it till it gets hot........
    then allow to cool and flush it out with clean water........

    repeat this until the cooling system is clean......then flush with clean water one more time.........

    then fill with the correct coolant......

    Hello Bussy,

    If you had transmission fluid in the radiator due to the cooler cracking, be sure to inspect the transmission fluid for any signs of coolant.

    If some did make its way into the transmission, it will result in a break down of the bonding within the material of the clutch plates and brake bands, which in turn will result in transmission failure.

    Could I suggest you have a complete transmission fluid flush and refill just to be on the safe side.
