3.5 Flapper Fuel Pump
I think the 3.5 flapper injected Range Rovers have a fuel pump relay under the bonnet.
Can anyone confirm this?
I intend taking the 3.9 hotwire fuel pump power supply from the battery feed to the EFI system under the dash. Hopefully this won't overload the power supply.
Thoughts?

Jon, perhaps a relay switched off the EFI feed would be OK, but I'd be loathe to use the EFI feed straight to pump. Check the later model RR fixum CD.
The 3.9 hotwire relay is under the driver's seat, next to the ECU. I'll have a bit of a sniff at the docus.
Cheers
Pete

the 3.5 flapper system uses a fuel pump relay and a steering module (looks like a red relay) located with the efi relay next to the ecu. the steering module puts a feed to the relay when the engine is cranking and then changes the feed when the motor is running using a signal from the flapper. if you turn the ignition on and open the flapper the fuel pump will run. does this help ?

I was wondering where the power supply was for the fuel pump relay.
I ended up just taking the power from the battery feed available at the multipin plug near the clutch pedal. It all seems to work OK.
