Disco auto into a manual RRC?

Can anyone advise how hard it will be to fit a disco (94) auto and transfer into an 89 manual RR Classic 3.5 injected?

I imagine the physical fit will be fine - but how do you match into the loom of the manual to run the auto?

Is this going to be too hard to match up and get operating properly due to the different computers etc?

Keith, there are no computers in a RRC or D1 for either gearbox.
The only wiring you need to change is add the neutral start safety switch into the starter system to prevent starting in drive or reverse.
It is an easy bolt in conversion except for plumbing in an oil cooler and a pedal box mod to toss away the clutch pedal. Note: A 1994 onwards D1 update pedal box WILL NOT fit a RRC (pre softdash). And don't forget you will need an attachment for the kickdown cable, it may mean a bit of a mod to the throttle body linkages, as some models didn't even have the kickdown cable lever or support bracket at all, being that they were manual from the factory.
Tailshafts etc are straight swap over.

    Ok thanks Justin
I got rid of the disco carcass anyway so will not have peddles
I would have thought the auto needed a signal from the computer to know when to change etc or is this taken from the throttle? I know nothing about autos as you can see.

I have the Disco oil coolers and lines and radiator to use.

Would have to source pedals and kick down - but these DID come in an auto (the 89 Range Rove) so I hope I can find auto parts and thus avoid any mods.
