    What Now?????

I have a vibration which I can feel through the steering wheel at low speeds. I rolled down the hill with the engine off and could feel the vibration and also heard the grinding. When I load the DeeFer 130 with a bit of weight, there is an increase in the grinding/vibration. I have checked the bearings for play (rocking the wheels) they seem to be okay. Also when I stop at the lights the Deefer seems to wobble (No load on the drive system). This doesn't happen all the time only occasionally. It feels unbalanced. Any suggestions wouuld be of great help. Thanks.

Id say wheel bearings , jack up each wheel , even tho you dont feel any play just spin the wheel then you might just hear the grinding noise

Just wonder if any of the gearbox or engine mounts are loose, but that does not explain the grinding, but if it feels unbalanced then it might be bearings.

I know the defenders front bearings are prone to failure quite quickly if not looked after, and when they go they go my old fender had to have the stud axle cut off because of bearing failure.
