    Range/Discovery

    Ok i was doing some thinking today i know scary thought ...But the question is Will a 98D1 dash fit into a 84 Range Rover?

    My old man and i were talking about doing a transplant of the diesel Motor into the Range Rover and i was also thinking of taking it further and moving he dash and center console.

    I am wondering if the D1 interior fits into the Range Rover also i know the front doors are the same but are the rears also the same?

    Totally different bulkhead, so no, not easily. The older D1, up to 1994 with the small headlamps and 200 tdi etc has the same bulkhead pattern etc and things like pedal boxes and wiring routing etc is very similar to rrc.
