    110 Emission control

Does anyone have any info on the layout for the emission control (!) on a (Australian spec) 1986 110? The 110 and Defender Workshop manuals are(of course) seriously vague on the subject. I'm particularly interested in the layout of the connections into the canister which resides next to the booster and for that matter, the small tank unit next to the fuel filler.

    Thanks

Yes, if that's what it is! My 110 started life as a V8 Hardtop and is presently a 300Tdi Station Wagon. One of the previous owners did all the work but I'm just trying to get everything sorted and need to know as much as I can about the various bits the manual forgets about!

If you have a diesel in it now, pull the canister and evap tank out and throw them in your spare parts box. That's what I did when I converted from V8 to diesel. You wont need them.

Fair enough. It needs to go on a diet as there's all sorts of clutter on or under it. I'm currently sorting out the electrics which is only marginally assisted by the wiring diagram which looks like it was originally drawn using crayons.

    Thanks again.
