    Auto Box Service

    I have an auto box with transfer attached I am going to put into my 89 Rangie ute (with burnt out LT77)

    If I want the auto serviced will it be easier and cheaper take it in while OUT of the truck to get this done and if so who is recommended to do the service on the Gold Coast Qld?

    Get it done while out of the car. Can't help with who to do it but should be a few auto places around.

    definitely easier and cheaper while its out of the car as the exhaust and chassis cross member normally need to be removed to get access to it - assuming its the ZF auto

    Thnaks guys - that is what I thought
    I have cooked the 5sp LT77 in the Rangie ute so the Auto and trasnfer sitting in the shed will go in as replacement - seemed to make sense to service the auto first.
    But will need to do a bit or plumbing for the change over.
