Thread: Disco 2 non CDL transfer conversion

My late 2001 TD5 doesn't have the CDL internal mechanism. What model transfers can I use to source the parts required. As mine is relatively low on K's I would like to keep it & retro fit the parts to it. There are 2 transfer cases for sale at present, 41D901360G from a 2000 model & 35D687461G possibly a D1 disco.
Has anyone done the mod buying new parts. Any help would be appreciated, Geoff.

you want the parts off the 41D, the 35D will actually be a 36D but this won't have the hi/lo switch hole,
